Betty Jo Designs is the creation of Melbournian Liz Jones.

"I am what you would call a gleaner and a dreamer. I love finding unwanted and discarded treasures in thrift shops and neighborhood hard rubbish collections and breathing new life into them. I have my best ideas while drifting off to sleep and usually can’t wait to get into my studio and start creating. I am a self confessed colour addict and believe there are no rules when it comes to mixing colours and clashing patterns. I’m a “more is more” kind of girl and not a fan of the minimalist aesthetic. Colour and more colour is my motto! All my work evokes memories. I am often told by people that a particular piece of lino in a Map of Australia was the same pattern they remembered from their childhood."
